Recipe for Rocky Road bars

I made these for the bake sale at school last week and have been asked by a few people for the recipe, so here it is;

Makes loads.... about 16 generous portions

1.2kg milk chocolate
6 regular Mars bars or Snickers, chopped (I used Mars as it was for school age kids)
100g mini marshmallows (not the mini-mini ones)
175g Maltesers (I used one of the pouches)
100g raisins
icing sugar for dusting

a 33 x 23cm lined deep baking tray

• Melt the chocolate in a pan over a medium heat or in the microwave, whichever you prefer
• Put the chocolate bars, marshmallows, Maltesers and raisins in a bowl and pour over the melted chocolate
• Mix until everything is covered and evenly dispersed
• Press mixture into prepared baking tray and flatten with the back of a spoon, give it a few taps to release any air pockets
• Leave to cool before putting in the fridge to harden
• Dust with icing sugar and cut into nice big chunks

You can put any assortment of chocolate and fruit in these, maybe add some chopped apricots or some nuts, or digestive biscuits, whatever you fancy I'm sure it will still taste yummy.
